Introducing Tatsuo Murakami
Let’s make an introduction.
We thought you would like to know a bit more about some of the people here at RISO UK. After all, we’re proud of our team.
To start things off, we’d like to introduce you to Tatsuo Murakami, RISO UK’s managing director.
A bit of background for you: he joined RISO in 1999 in direct sales based out of Tokyo headquarters, a role he was in for three years.
Ambitious and quick to learn, Tats (as he is more widely known) moved into accounting, then to the European sales department, also based in Tokyo, and then moved to London as European marketing manager.
His key strengths in understanding the European market and finance, led to Tats to becoming managing director of the UK business in 2012.
It’s been a hugely busy two years for Tatsuo. Aside from the launch of the new ComColors and the new RGs <http://outputlinks.co.uk/riso_080814_oluk_riso>, he has been cementing RISO’s position in the UK market, both with customers in the print production and education sectors and with clients who use RISO’s unique print solutions to help them communicate more effectively with their own customers.
Tats is a believer in great leadership and it’s an ethos that drives his work at RISO.
Part of Tats’ role at RISO UK is to drive the brand forward.
The RISO Group has, since its formation in 1946, been dedicated to providing the very best ‘ideal’ solutions to meet customer printing and copying needs.
The company has grown to a global presence, with agents serving people in 180 different countries and regions, and a listing in the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
It’s a world player that continues to evolve and lead the market. You can tell this just by looking at the new products we have introduced, such as the new ComColor X1 series.
Based on RISO’s heritage, and its combined knowledge, Tats is often called upon to share his views on the inkjet sector, like this article in Print Monthly just recently. http://www.printmonthly.co.uk/archives/pm_nov2014_3d/pageflip.html
So that’s Tats. Look out for the next team member to be profiled here at RISO, home of the world’s fasted cut sheet A4 inkjet printer.
